153333562285018945_YF774syN_bToday I am grateful to have so many people in my life.  I can say we are ” like family”, “community”, “friends”- etc.  When I stop and reflect on this- “we are one” feels authentic to me.  Yesterday- I spent time with my girlfriends and their new babies – a few of us didn’t have babies but we helped out holding and loving on them!  As I drove home – I felt so fulfilled in sharing our stories and our commitment to be in each others’ lives.  At my new Moksha Yoga Community- everytime I walk through the doors- there is always a smiling familar face or an opportunity to meet someone new.  As we share our daily life stories, our yoga practice, and our love for living a great life- I realize that we are so similar; connected.  Last evening- I reconnected with several friends that I hadn’t seen for awhile- the second we sat down and connected; it was like no time came between us.  Today- I was on a conference call with several Baptiste Teachers discussing our gameplan and roles for next week’s Art of Assisting Program at Indigo Yoga in Ft.Worth, Texas.  On the call were a few people I know and several I didn’t know.  The Baptiste Community has given me connection, love, support and a family all over the world.  Everytime I go to a training, or participate on a conference call- I always leave feeling better.

I believe in having the courage to be vulnerable and generous in communicating to others.  The second I make the decision to smile and start speaking to another person- we become connected beyond words.  We share an unwritten code that “We Are One”. Not only am I making time to be with others I am making time for myself.
