I was given the opportunity to assist Baron Baptiste’s Art of Assisting Program at Indigo Yoga in Ft. Worth, Texas last weekend. It was an opportunity to truly walk the talk of giving selflessly for the empowerment of another human being. The weekend was full of smiling faces, courage and strength, love and community- to shine beyond your boundaries!
I see that we are all one. We have the choice to create a planet filled with health, hope, togetherness and truth. Be in your Truth. Embody Awareness. Be Curious and Embrace Inquiry. Take Action and Create Possibility!
One of the things that Brandon said during our training in regards to “True North Alignment” and it’s presence in every posture in Journey into Power – is it’s a metaphor for our life. When we stand in our TRUTH in all of life- we can handle what arises from it. We have the awareness, can therefore create inquiry; and as a result make a choice for possibility. This is the same practice when we are holding the postures in class- in each posture and being in True North Alignmnet- we have the tools of awareness, inquiry and possibility. When we aren’t in our TRUTH; be it in life or in class- we aren’t present and therefore have no possibility.
As I reflect on my time serving- I am humbled and honored to serve for people that have made the choice to live from empowerment.
Thank you to all my teachers at the program and my team. Thank you Baron for creating Baptiste Power Yoga and the programs that help everyone to connect to their truth. Thank you to my husband, Mario, for all your love and support. Thank you God, and the energy of the universe to support me down my path.
